Evans & Doherty (along with Jimmy Sweeney) become scriptwriters

To coincide with the visit of the Tallships to Halifax in July of 2000,
Evans & Doherty along with Jimmy Sweeney have written a 1-hour
radio program for CBC.   Sea shanties are much part of this story which
features a variety of songs likely to be sung on board a ship during
various stages of its voyage.  The soundtrack of the radio show is available
as a recording, and is the official recording of the Tallships 2000 campaign.

Kevin's songwriting talent knows no bounds

Fresh from his recent sucess writing the title track for John McDermott's "Christmas Memories" (for which he received gold and platinum awards), Kevin's reputation
as a world class songwriter is further enhanced by the sucess of his song "The Orchard".
Irish singer Sean Tyrell's recording of "The Orchard" has recently been named
Best Folk Album and Roots/Traditional Album of the Year in Ireland.
To add to this, Canadian music legend Stompin' Tom Connors has just released
Kevin's song "Silver Sea" on his latest recording, a great compliment
considering Stompin' Tom isn't known for recording other people's material.
